Selection Process

The selection process for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 involves multiple stages. Candidates must clear each stage to progress to the next:

• CBT-1 (Computer-Based Test - Stage 1): This is the initial screening test for all applicants.
• CBT-2 (Computer-Based Test - Stage 2): Candidates who qualify in CBT-1 are shortlisted for CBT-2, which is more focused on the specific post requirements.
• Skill Test: Depending on the post, candidates may need to undergo a Typing Skill Test or Computer-Based Aptitude Test.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2024

The RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2024 consists of two stages of Computer-Based Tests (CBT), followed by a skill test, document verification, and a medical exam. Stage-1 is a screening test, while Stage-2 focuses on specific posts.

  • UR: 40%, EWS: 40%, OBC (Non-creamy layer): 30%, SC: 30%, ST: 25%.
  • For PwBD candidates, there is a 2% relaxation in these percentages if there’s a shortage of candidates.

• Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• Normalization: Marks will be normalized across different shifts of the exam.
