The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has announced a recruitment drive for the post of Constable Driver in 2024.

Selection Process
The selection process for the ITBP Constable Driver Recruitment 2024 consists of multiple stages. Candidates must qualify at each stage to proceed to the next. Below is a detailed breakdown of the selection process:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) | - Candidates must qualify in physical tasks such as a 1.6 km race, long jump, and high jump. - The PET is qualifying in nature, and no marks are awarded. |
2. Physical Standard Test (PST) | - Candidates who clear the PET will undergo height, chest, and weight measurements. - Candidates who do not meet the required standards will be disqualified. |
3. Written Examination | - The written exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), carrying a total of 100 marks. - Subjects include General Knowledge, English, Hindi, Mathematics, and Trade-related Theory. - The minimum qualifying marks are 35% for General/EWS/Ex-Servicemen and 33% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. |
4. Document Verification (DV) | - Shortlisted candidates must present their original documents (educational certificates, driving license, identity proofs, etc.) for verification. |
5. Practical Skill Test | - A practical driving test will assess the candidate's driving skills and knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations. |
6. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) | - Candidates who pass the skill test will undergo a medical examination to ensure they are physically fit for the role. |
7. Review Medical Examination (RME) | - If candidates are declared unfit in the DME, they can apply for the Review Medical Examination (RME). |
